So here we are looking forward to a hopefully sunny summer for 2022. Will it be plain sailing with all the covid restrictions now fully finished, or will there be more doom and gloom from cost of living crises and the awful war in Ukraine?
Well, as cider makers we can’t help much with the problems in Ukraine, but we have made an effort to keep our price rises for this year to a bare minimum to help out on the spending front.
With Nick having reached that watershed moment of drawing his “old age” pension (definitely doom and gloom there!) we have decided to cut back on our production this year to make life a bit easier. You will see in our shop that we are now concentrating on our core business of making traditional ciders, having phased out the fruit ciders and apple juice. These have become very expensive to produce and we decided to concentrate on the things we enjoy doing.
The Lancombe Rising is just finishing its bottle fermentation so that will be available in the shop from now.
Otherwise we are hoping for a busy summer and look forward to meeting old friends and customers at some of the shows we will be attending later in the year.
